I have had consultations with Dr Birtle many times now in the last two and a half years. She gave me confidence in administering the treatment and she continues to give me confidence in the follow up consultations. In the beginning, the best bit was when I was pretty frightened when I met her the first time and she said - "we'll start the chemotherapy tomorrow" - no messing sums everything up really. Thank you.

Dr bottle is one of the best doctors i have ever met.she is always interested in what you have to say and I believe she is a genuine person.every time I go for my appointment she is overwhelmed with patients but still maintains an air of compleat control ,i wish her every success for the future.

This lady is a great doctor, has overseen the treatment I have received. In the two and a half years I have been attending, she has always greeted us with a lovely smile, a little humour and plenty of helpful suggestions. Never do I mind attending her clinic. Cannot thank her and her team enough.

Today Dr Birtle was able to tell me that my treatment for prostate cancer, which she has overseen, has been successful. Dr Birtle was as always welcoming and kind. She always shows a personal interest in her patient and can be firm, tempering this with humour when needed. (Like insisting I see a counsellor, which I was shying from but which has done me a great deal of good.) Even though I realise she has a vast number of patients, Dr. Birtle has a way of making one feel like the only patient on Earth while in her clinic. Throughout my treatment I have felt very confident having Dr. Birtle as my consultant and as with all my many recent NHS experiences, I could not have received better care however much I might have been paying elsewhere in the world.
